The role
Take General Manager perspective for Service Line: have strategic vision, express SWO’s unique value proposition, define product roadmap and ensure timely execution. Be accountable for competitive cost and quality delivery even if not controlling all necessary resources.
Responsible for Service Line budget and for business model that delivers top quartile contribution margins. Defines go to market motions together with Sales to ensure the Service Line’s EBITDA contribution is maximized.
Be the face of the Service Line externally with customers and also internally. Evangelize the Service Line’s value proposition with the countries, federations, and regions. Be on the ground with the sellers in front of customers to stay close to the market. Collaborate with local Services teams to innovate and to take our portfolio to the next level.
Has accountability for results of major programs in terms of budget, cost, direction and people management. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues within established policies. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. Plans, directs and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members.
Last but certainly not least, be a key member of the Solutions & Services executive team. Contribute to overall SWO Solutions & Services strategy and ensure synergistic cross-service line and cross-portfolio alignment. Drive execution of key Solutions & Services initiatives and be a visible, persuasive ambassador with the countries to ensure traction for the initiatives.
What we need to see from you
- Strong background in digital transformation related to applications and cloud infrastructure
- Backgound in both managed and professional services
- Experience in B2B Software or Services sales
- Service delivery experience highly desired
- Understand the implication of change though the implementation of technology to the business
- Strong Analytical skills
- Highly motivated and result oriented
- Strong structural work methods, multitasking and time management skills
- Self-driven independent work ethics that drives internal and external accountability
- Solid problem solving and assertive consultative skills
- Strong in project management and project leadership
- Understanding of IT environments / infrastructure and software.
- Strong presentation skills for Snr Management presentations
